Residence Inn by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town

I recently stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn Pasadena (Room 537) for four nights, and overall, it was a good experience with a couple of drawbacks. The Positives: Location: Perfect! The hotel is centrally located and close to everything I needed. Staff: Incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They made me feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Atmosphere: The hotel has a warm and inviting vibe, making it an enjoyable place to stay. The Issue: The dishwasher in my room did not drain properly, and unfortunately, it ended up flooding the kitchen floor. It was an inconvenience that could have been avoided with better maintenance. While this issue didn’t ruin my stay, it was disappointing given the otherwise high standards of the hotel. I hope the management addresses these maintenance concerns to improve the guest experience. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its location, staff, and ambiance, but I suggest checking that everything in the room is functioning properly upon arrival.

We loved staying here for Pokemon Go Fest. It's right down the road from the Rose Bowl, had clean and beautiful rooms, and extremely friendly staff. Lots of walkable food places nearby as well.

I stay in hotels 150 nights a year. This hotel is hands down the best one I've stayed in this year. A joy to stay in for 11 nights for work. Worked, rested and the service was top drawer and seamless. Peaceful , quiet huge room, excellent location in beautiful and quaint old town Pasadena everything is 5 mins walk away. Beautiful view of the church and mountains from my room! Thank you to Sarah Yamada and the entire staff that make it so great!

I stayed in the Residence Inn with my parents during the month of November last year. My experience was great! The rooms were nicely sized, and management was very responsive. I was especially grateful to Ricky who provided excellent customer service and made our three week stay a delight.

Stayed here for an extended period of time for work. Had a great view of the mountains and plenty of space to lounge and occasionally work from the room. They switch up breakfast daily and have plenty of space outside by the pool.

Stayed here slightly longer than a month for business. My family stayed as well for about half the time, and the entire staff was so friendly and warm. When our A/C died the first night we were there, Miguel at the front desk changed our room and even gave us a 5th floor view of the mountains. Every time we walked through the lobby doors, we were greeted as if we were finally home. The room was very spacious. The kitchenware was okay. But the housekeeping staff was excellent and thorough. The cleanings didn’t happen on a set schedule as they occurred sometime between noon and 5ish. Lastly, Jose at the front desk even let me check out very late as my travel plans changed unexpectedly. I am so grateful for this hotel and its well trained staff. Ultimately, because of Miguel and the staff, the location (in Oldtown!), and the very spacious room, we will come back when in Pasadena again!

First of all, I want to shake the hand of the hiring manager, I will like to know what method he/she used to hire such amazing talent. I have never in all my life of traveling experience such great service. Everyone who works at this location, that I encountered was polite, well mannered, and helpful. Room service blew my mind. The cleaning service was exceptional. Breakfast was great the hotel it self was clean. My only complaint is allowing guest with pets to bring them to the dinning area. I have terrible allergy to pets, that was a little uncomfortable for me. Guest can have pet's but please keep them away from the food area. Other than that, beautiful experience.

Nice hotel with unique room layout that's very functional and practical. Breakfast is very nice, consistent with price of rooms. Parking is $40/night.
